Pat B., a francophone who served in all branches of the Canadian Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force), including isolated postings to Alert, overseas deployments aboard ship and overseas postings in Europe, tells us, en francais, how his drinking progressed, and how he lost control of how much he drank. He tells how drinking felt like a prison. A marriage crisis due to his drinking led to a fellow CF member, sober in Alcoholics Anonymous, offering to help him and Pat has never looked back. His life today is full, rich, sane and happy.
