This is your 2025 International Convention Coordinator, Patrick C. There was an overwhelming participation for the first day of the 2025 International Convention Online and Registration and Housing process.
While some were able to complete the process effectively, others have endured some challenges.
My intention was not to provide you with the opportunity to practice patience and tolerance.
We are seeking solutions to the issues we encountered with our vendor, Showcare.
They include:
- Excessively long wait times.
- Getting booted out of the system.
- A backlog of email confirmations being distributed to attendees for the transactions that were processed.
One of the solutions we implemented today was adjusting the time allowed for people to be in the system. We did this because the attendees were spending more time than we initially expected to complete the process once in the system.
We have made several changes to improve the infrastructure of the process, and some users might have been caught in the refresh. Our team is continuing to monitor the flow to ensure the environment remains stable.
On day one of this registration process, we processed 12,531 registrations. I recognize that this is amazing work for the first day.
Hotel availability, for attendees, in the official block at the 2025 International Convention is limited, especially if you are planning to stay until July 7, 2025. However, hotel rooms may become available as other registrants cancel them.
